Dementia Australia - Victoria

Dementia Australia is the national peak body for people living with dementia and their families and carers. The Victorian arm runs a state-wide network of education, counselling, and support group services from its base in Parkville (Melbourne's inner north).

The National Dementia Helpline (1800 100 500) operates 8am-8pm weekdays and 9am-5pm weekends. Education programs include living-well-with-dementia courses, dementia-friendly carer training, and young-onset-dementia support.

Translated materials and multilingual support are available in Italian, Greek, Mandarin, and other major community languages. Telehealth options expand reach into regional Victoria.
