About Australian Men's Shed Association (AMSA) - National Office

The Australian Men's Shed Association (AMSA) is the national peak body representing and supporting the ~1,200 Men's Sheds operating across Australia. The Newcastle head office handles national programs, advocacy, insurance, the Spanner in the Works health initiative, and shed start-up support.

AMSA does not run individual sheds — those are autonomous member organisations. Use the AMSA directory to find your nearest shed if you're looking to join, or get in touch via the head office to learn about starting a new one in your community.
