Balmain RSL Lawn Bowls Club has been part of the Balmain community since the 1920s. The club has two greens and runs both competitive and social bowls year-round.
Coaching is available for new bowlers — bring flat-soled shoes and they'll loan you the bowls. Twilight bowls runs Friday evenings in daylight saving months, drawing a mixed-age crowd. The clubhouse café is open for member lunches and bar service.
Members include veterans and non-veterans alike; the club operates under the Balmain RSL sub-branch. Visitors welcome — drop in for a roll-up.
