Men's Sheds
The Bowral Men's Shed (BMS) was opened on 12th June 2003 with the help of the Bowral Uniting Church, Uniting Care North Sydney, Aging and Disability and Wham as a place where men from the community could get together and support each other. Now officially called Bowral Men's Shed Inc. It is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 08:00 to 15:00. It currently has 67 members with a broad range of backgrounds and varying skill levels. Members are able to work in any of the three sheds and undertake personal projects as well as help out with community projects. It is also a great place to make new friends and hone your skills or even learn new ones in a friendly environment looking out for each others safety and wellbeing.
Activities:
The Men's Shed has three fully equipped workshops (wood, metal and computing/electronics) where skilled and unskilled men can share time, swap yarns, work on their own projects or work together on community projects.
