About Castlemaine District Community Health Men's Shed
The Castlemaine District Community Health Men's Shed welcomes blokes from Castlemaine and the surrounding Mount Alexander Shire region. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from mid-morning, the shed offers shared workshop space, tools, mentoring, and a kettle that's always on.
Regular activities include woodwork, metalwork (welding and basic metal fab), garden projects, and community projects in partnership with local schools and the CHIRP Community Health service. Veterans are explicitly welcomed and the shed is wheelchair-accessible.
New members are welcome to drop in for a cuppa and a look around before signing up. Annual fee is nominal and covers insurance.
