Cervantes Community Men's Shed Inc

Cervantes Community Men's Shed is located in a cray-fishing town 2 hours north of Perth CBD. Shedders weave a large, popular range of hard wearing and colourful mats, baskets and 4WD recovery mats from recycled crayfish pot rope. We also have a very successful recycling program collecting used aluminium, plastic and glass containers from local businesses and other community sources for recycling via "Containers For Change". This saves many containers from land-fill.

The woodworking and metalworking shops will produce products and services for community members on request, Local Street Art at times and will engage in other community projects such as the recently commissioned illuminated ANZAC Cenotaph at Memorial Park. Members provide BBQ services etc for community functions such as Australia Day breakfast etc.
Our membership includes women so we enjoy high quality morning tea at meetings and a most enjoyable social calendar.

Activities include Weaving rope mats, baskets and off-road recovery mats, Container recycling program, Woodwork, Metalwork, Community projects.
