Gladstone Mens Shed Assoc

The Gladstone Men’s Shed celebrated it’s 10th birthday in 2021 and is looking forward to another decade of growth.
We have built two large buildings at 18 Moura Crescent, Barney Point, with well-equipped workshops and technical facilities for members use.
Membership is continually growing in excess of 100 and we can get around 60 members in on a busy day.  A social activity is generally held every 2-3 months with member’s partners invited to around 50% of those events.

Activities:
Our well equipped workshop offers facilities for electrical, metalwork, welding and woodwork plus a project team has built a 2.4m x 1.2m CNC Router, which gets regular use on the workshop days.   People either having the skills or wish to learn CAD/CAM are being encouraged to help with programming the Router.  There is also a 3D Printer, Laser Cutting/Engraving and Pyrography is available in the shed.
Beekeeping, cooking and gardening are also available in support of the mainstay activities.
