Hervey Bay Men's Shed Inc

The Hervey Bay Men’s Shed (HBMS) is a community-based organisation that is accessible to all men. Our mission is to advance the general health and well being of men. We achieve this objective by providing a safe, friendly and welcoming environment where members are able to work on meaningful projects at their own pace, in their own time and in the company of other men. Or you can just come along and have a yarn and a cuppa if that is all you’re looking for. This focus encourages social inclusion which helps us play a role in addressing depression and male suicide which are major issues for men in today’s society.
But we do a lot more. We have a strong community focus and we are always ready to help the members of our community who are disadvantaged in some way.
Like all not-for-profit organisations that are run entirely by volunteers, we rely on our members to help raise the funds we need to remain financially viable so we can continue to play an important role in our community.
