About Jurien Bay Community Mens Shed Inc
We moved into our new premises near the Rec Centre oval about two years ago.
We meet for morning tea and a yarn every Monday morning from 9.15 am onwards.
Meetings are held each first Monday of the month at 5pm.
We hold a social gathering each third Monday of the month at 5pm.
We currently have about 60 members from all walks of life.
Activities:
Woodwork and metal workshop, Gardening, Containers for Change, Men’s Shed Band, Model Ford T restoration
We organise an annual October Fest and/or Easter Fair
We provide a ‘Rest in Reef’ service. The ashes of a loved one are mixed into the concrete of a reef ball, which is lowered into the sea by our volunteers in attendance of the family.
