Kendall Mens Shed

The Kendall Men's Shed was formed in August 2010 when a small group of guys came together and arranged to paint the Kendall Post Office. From there they developed a friendship and went on to organise a site at the local showground  for the shed to be erected. The shed was donated by Grant Page and was erected by the members at the time and on 13th August 2011 the Kendall Men's Shed was opened by Peter Besseling. We now have over 70 members and usually get between 20 and 30 members turning up on a Tuesday.

Activities include The activities at our shed are varied as we have many talents among the members. These include welding, woodwork, wood turning, mechanical skills, just to mention a few. We have been involved in varied projects from refurbishing the "Big Axe" for the Kew tourist stop, seats and tables for the local school, a timber aeroplane for a kid's playground and making various items that we trade off at the local market.
