Kingscliff Men's Shed Inc.

Kingscliff Men's Shed is a developing shed in an area of high numbers of retired men. Meetings, social gatherings and seminars are held at the Kingscliff Bowling Club. Workshop activities are currently held in the garage of our treasurer. A site for a permanent shed is still under negotiation, with a positive outcome sought in the not too distant future. The music group meets each Friday in a member's music room while the cycling group sets off from the Bowling club each Tuesday morning.

The weekly social gathering - TGIF (Thank God It's Friday) meets at the Bowling Club from 4 until 6pm. Occasional members' BBQs are held in local parks with partners dinners held in various local restaurants. The Ladies Of The Shed (LOTS) are a social group of wives of members who gather from time to time.

We have seven sub-committees meeting regularly to plan all aspects of our shed's operation. Each month, the co-ordinators meet with the executive team as the Management Committee. General Meetings are held when special circumstances require input from all members, currently 30
