Men's Sheds
The Men's Shed was floated as an idea after the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires as a way of bringing together men of the community. Funding was made available from the Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund to establish the Shed which was to serve as a hub for St Andrews and surrounding communities. In August 2013 the first Committee was elected with Tony Barbeta as President. The shed became incorporated in 2014. The Shed is now a venue for a diverse group of men of the district to come together for “gathering, sharing and enjoying”, providing friendship, camaraderie and support.
Activities include Woodworking, metalworking, DIY projects, social interactions, pool.
