Newcastle Mens Shed Inc

The volunteers of Newcastle Men’s Shed come from all different back grounds, we encourage both men and women to join our shed, and meet to be a mentoring support to each other, and act as a support to people who are in need of our charity support work. We have our membership with Australian Men’s Shed Association, and our incorporation.
With our shed charter we seek out online grants to help fund our projects, and do charitable acts for just a small donation. We aim to hold social events and involve the community in what we do. Being a support to schools, child care centres, community centres, and any others that are in need of our workforce support. We seek out local business’s that want to be a support to the local community, and give aid where ever possible. We seek out men who are retired, or unemployed or just want to use our workshop. Hoping to build a good assortment of workshop tools that will benefit or shed volunteers, in turn help keep doing our charity work.
