About Simpson & District Men's Shed
Simpson Men’s Shed was established in 2009 after a need was identified within the area. Originally operating out of a rented premises, a fit for purpose shed was built in 2014 through grants and community fundraising. Members meet at the shed twice a week and partake in many activities. The shed provides social support, comradery and a welcome space for men in the community to come and join in the activities or just share a cuppa and a chat.
Activities include Community Garden, Building Projects, Guest Speakers, Skill Share, Mentor Project, Physical Activities, Networking, Socialising, Health Awareness Sessions, Information Sessions, Community Service Projects & Introduction of Technology.
