Sunraysia Mens Shed Inc

The Shed, located in the grounds of the Sunraysia TAFE in Mildura, was originally planned to be opened some 7 years ago but, due to some delays, was only constructed early in 2012. It provides a much needed facility for older men to meet, make friends, engage in activities, and gain information on a range of issues relevant to their personal situations. Now complete, it provides a place where men can put their skills to use for the benefit of the community. It also provides a place where participants can have a chat, learn new skills, give back to the community and provide an environment that is friendly and welcomes older men from all walks of life. To date there are 200  members many of whom have retired into Mildura and surrounding localities adopting this area as their new home, far removed from family and lifelong friends.

Activities include wood work, metal work, welding, community projects.
