Texas Men's Shed Inc

Texas Men's Shed Inc is a small shed of approx 10 members on the Queensland/NSW border.

The first few years of operation have mainly been spent getting the shed liveable. Our local Council has kindly let us use the shed rent and electricity free. The shed is located behind the football fields and was the old dressing shed. One wall was nearly falling down, the roof leaked and the whole place was derelict and unused for many many years. Now it is a comfortable well appointed shed for our local men to gather and we are very proud of all we have achieved.

Activities:
Wide variety of metal and wood working equipment is available for use, there are cards, darts and a full size pool table. A small kitchen has been made and tea/coffee and soft drinks are available for a gold coin donation.
Produce workshop projects/  improvements in workshop tools and operation, sausage sizzles, pool table , batting the breeze on Saturdays ,  small jobs for local community once geared for it, visiting other sheds.
