Batemans Bay U3A

Batemans Bay U3A follows the worldwide tradition of the University of the Third Age, serving retired and semi-retired people in the Eurobodalla Shire. The organisation is a volunteer community drawing on the knowledge and experience of members to provide educational, creative, leisure and social activities. New members and tutor volunteers are warmly welcomed, with a philosophy that the only prerequisite is paid membership.

The U3A offers a range of classes and events of varying lengths held throughout the Eurobodalla area. Members can enrol in multiple classes reflecting their interests, with volunteer course leaders sharing their knowledge and skills. Memberships are designed as great value, giving members flexibility to participate in as many classes as desired. The organisation operates as a cooperative where member participation is central to its success.

Batemans Bay U3A emphasises both learning and social connection, creating a friendly, inclusive community for older people seeking intellectual engagement and friendship. The organisation welcomes expressions of interest from potential course leaders and volunteers.
