Bathurst U3A

Bathurst U3A welcomes the community to explore learning opportunities and participate in the worldwide U3A movement. The organisation operates on the principle that retirement is a time for continued growth and engagement, with learning opportunities available to people of all educational backgrounds. The U3A creates a friendly, supportive community where people can pursue intellectual interests alongside social connection.

The organisation is governed by a volunteer management committee and operates according to a constitution setting out principles and rules for governance. Courses and activities are volunteer-led, with members contributing as course facilitators and committee members. The U3A publishes a newsletter at the beginning of each term, with posting available for those without internet access.

Bathurst U3A maintains a Facebook presence for community engagement and operates regular term schedules aligned with school holidays. The organisation welcomes volunteers to join the committee in various roles, recognising that shared responsibility strengthens the community and expands offerings available to members. Bathurst U3A acknowledges the Wiradjuri country on which it operates.
