About U3A Canberra
U3A Canberra has been operating since 1985 and is the ACT's main University of the Third Age chapter. Courses run weekday daytimes at venues across Canberra, and online courses are increasingly available for members preferring to learn from home.
The curriculum spans languages, history, sciences, music, current affairs, fitness, art, and lifelong-learning topics. New courses are added each semester based on tutor availability and member interest.
Annual membership is modest and includes access to all courses subject to capacity. New members welcome year-round.
