Central Coast U3A

U3A Central Coast offers courses and talks on diverse topics including history, literature, the arts, public affairs, the environment and humanities. The organisation provides learning opportunities through two semesters annually with main enrolment periods at the beginning of the year and mid-year. Courses vary greatly and change from semester to semester as members share their knowledge and interests with others.

Learning topics span lifestyle and practical skills, music, theatre, literature, visual arts, cinema, science, physical activities, environmental interests and historical studies. The U3A also arranges outings, trips and social events from time to time. Courses are published online and in course booklets, with details about times, venues and facilitators. Members can enrol online or through other methods accommodating people without internet access.

U3A Central Coast operates on volunteer principles, with members contributing as course leaders and support volunteers. The organisation emphasises that membership entitles people to attend courses according to their interests and availability. Venues throughout the Central Coast region provide accessible locations for courses, with the organisation actively seeking new volunteer facilitators and committee members.
