Dorrigo Plateau U3A

Dorrigo Plateau U3A welcomes people seeking learning and friendship in a relaxed atmosphere. The University of the Third Age is a worldwide movement where people from all walks of life learn from each other, drawing upon their experience, knowledge and interests. Participants do not need formal qualifications to join, and there are no examinations or tests.

The U3A offers classes covering diverse subjects and the opportunity to become a tutor and help others learn in a supportive, social way. Participation in classes in a friendly social atmosphere can help keep the mind active and contribute to physical and mental health. The organisation operates under the Associations Incorporation Act, with a model constitution adapted for the Dorrigo group.
