U3A Milton / Ulladulla

U3A Milton-Ulladulla Campus is a community-based volunteer-operated organisation devoted to lifelong learning for retired and semi-retired people. The organisation helps members explore learning opportunities while sharing knowledge and interests with others and having fun together. Participation allows members to meet new people, learn new skills and explore new interests, while remaining mentally, physically and socially active during retirement.

The U3A began in Australia in 1984, rapidly spreading to become an autonomous movement with around 300 U3A groups nationwide serving approximately 100,000 members. Milton-Ulladulla U3A serves the local area with diverse courses available each term, with a single annual membership providing access to all offerings. New members can easily enrol in courses through the online system, with support available for those without membership numbers.

The organisation operates entirely on volunteer principles, with all course leaders and committee members giving their time without payment. U3A emphasises that learning is accessible to all, regardless of prior experience or qualifications, and that the best learning communities are built on shared knowledge and mutual support.
