About U3A Online
U3A Online is an internet-only U3A chapter open to members anywhere in Australia (and internationally). Courses run as moderated discussion forums plus supplementary readings — there are no live video sessions, so members can participate at their own pace from anywhere with an internet connection.
Topics span history, philosophy, science, literature, languages, and current affairs. New courses launch each semester and members can enrol in multiple at once.
Annual membership fee is low (under $50). All tutors are volunteers; the model has been running since the late 1990s.
