Violet Town Mens Shed Inc

The Violet Town Men’s Shed is open three mornings a week where wood working and other skills and expertise are put to good use.
The Men's Shed provides a great place for those who want somewhere to go and meet with like-minded people and do something useful at the same time. Morning tea is at 10.00 am. Men of all ages are welcome, just drop in or give the coordinator a call.
The shed has acquired woodworking tools and equipment paid from grants and donations that allows jobs or projects to be completed. A continuing source of income is the manufacture of possum and bird nesting boxes that are in great demand.
A corner of the Men's Shed provides an opportunity for visitors to relax, or just sit down for a chat.

Activities include Furniture restoration, nesting boxes, general woodworking and metal working.Work for community and participate in physical and mental health programs and monthly Mens Mob outings.
