Men's Sheds
Warradale Men’s Shed was officially opened on 30 March 2012 by Jai Rowell, former Member for Wollondilly. The members had previously met in the Warragamba Town Hall, by courtesy of Wollondilly Council. The Shed received government grants and were assisted by the Warragamba Silverdale Neighbourhood Centre. The members had been offered the old Thirlmere Rural Fire Service Shed and had to dismantle and store it for about 12 months. Warragamba Workers Club generously offered to the Shed the present site and the land was remediated, slab laid and re-erected on its present site.
Over the years, the original members have aged, and some have unfortunately passed away. Their contributions to the community have been massive and their workmanship and assistance valued.
Activities include Woodwork, lathe work, metal work, gardening.
