Griffith U3A

Griffith U3A operates as a volunteer-run organisation providing educational opportunities and social connection for retired and semi-retired people. Courses are conducted at the Senior Citizens' Centre in central Griffith, with accessible parking. Classes, discussion groups and activities vary based on member interests and tutor availability. The organisation runs four terms per year, each 10 weeks duration, aligning with school terms.

Course leaders provide their time and expertise without payment, allowing the U3A to maintain minimal costs for members. The organisation enhances the social aspects of learning by following classes with morning or afternoon tea, creating time for members to connect.
